Hocus Pocus, Give us some good news pal

You know that we love Field of Glory Empires and there are plenty of us that will buy your next game the day it is launched!
Tell us! We have to know! We can't wait any longer! Tell us before we start pounding our heads on our desks!

Yes, it's that bad! :p
I recently started playing Field of Glory Empires again after taking a few months off to get some work done...I am still enjoying the game very much, that Persia update added a bunch of nice content.

Yes please make this happen! I loved how FOG Empires and FOG II worked together and a Medieval FOG Empires combo would make my year. Hope to see it one day soon.

I am pretty sure Field of Glory Kingdoms is coming. They are in the early stages of discussion and planning from what I heard and read.

FoG Empires has so much content to hold your attention for at least one more year. If you don't know what to do, launch Suicidal difficulty, enable detailed reports, activate battles tab and see how AI plays.

Whatever concept they will end ( ,medieval, darkages, so on ) I strongly hope that will have the scope of the current empires. Limited only to a part of the map ( that the current fog medieval covers ) would be a drawback on my point of view . My fear reiforced after the release of the fog medieval which hasmt got muslims and most of all the eastern roman empire. ( wtf for a company named byzantium ) so a medieval empire with no crusades and the major faiths clash would be bland. Anyway I will certainly support the devs, empires combine with fog is a revelation. Their call!

I‘m pretty sure fog medieval will get DLCs which cover crusades and so on. Same as fog2.

As of what we have seen till now ( empire + fog2 interaction ) the devs of empires supported only the base fog2 game. they made the persia dlc ( same map mind you ) witch it could support the proper fog2 dlc for exported battles but they didnt. So coming back to an hypothetical medieval empires, i believe the devs wouldnt want us, the players, to buy 2 games + 2 dlcs in order to play a game that would basically be the scope of the current empires base game. Anyway, we will see what they are up to.

Base Empires covered all Europe and the western part of India, with all armies lists available within this geographical area even if you did not had any FOG II DLCs.

i only play fog2 as an empires battle extention and didnt know what the fog2 base game covered. so, if this is the case then, well , do your best:)

I understand that you dont want to announce a new game yet but a single screenshot would help those impatient customers survive. Sois miséricordieux envers nous !

That would be equivalent to announcing the game with ample details
There is a game in the making, but I can't disclose it, sorry! Ask Marco during Slitherine Tea Time

Ok so thats a NO. Fine. I didnt wxpect anything less but it was worth a try.
But what about some general, non-specific info? The thing that troubles me the most is that HATED, DREADFUL, HORRIBLE, AWFUL, DISTRESSING, APPALING, HIDEOUS and OUTRAGEOUS feature called upscalling/discalling (I cant even say it without retching) also known as ...
conversion ratio
(making involuntary choking sound) when exporting battles. I understand it was your first GS and they were not suppossed to be in sync with eachother so you are graciously forgiven but to implement it again would be, as most of you would agree a gross misconduct. This feature robs us from having an attachment to a unit that performed well, gained experience, tiped a scale of some battle and so forth just like the X Legion for Ceasar. It would make battles not only more meaningful but more interesting by using those units as a last/hard to replace reserve that once lost is lost forever, a sort of Triarii. It could even be enhanced by giving it some kind of a distinction if it did well or just a simple ability to rename a unit would go a long way.
Is that too much to ask? Hopefully not.

First of all you need to understand how conversion works. How the terrain, current unit health state, unit experience and the other less-known factors affect conversion. You should visit MOD category and download TT mod after that. Good luck!

the devs did a marvelous job on making two completely diffent games to communicate and combine various aspects like suitedqueens said above. The moders took out the rest and made it a top level, perhaps the best ancient game out there ( and along "gladius relics of war" the best on slitherine collection) . check the mod "odee to europa barbarorum" on mods section, once it ll be updated for the recent patch you will be amezed.
on the other hand, better is the enemy of good

I do understand how it works, its just I dont like it at all and I'm not alone in this. In my opinion FoG:E is a great game but this conversion sucks and hopefully wont be implemented in the next game. If other strategy games can do it why not you?

So if you were working on an hypothetical FoG:Kingdom game, it could cover parts not included in the base FoG2: Medieval game?
Sounds good to me!
