Slitherine

Can't get into multiplayer. The server could not validate my data online.

It was a beta tester, I bought the game on the slitherine page and then moved it to Steam. Maybe this change has something to do with it.

I have the same issue myself with the STEAM and GOG versions.

We are looking into it, and hopefully will have a fix as soon as possible.

Which version are you using?

I can login to MP usinbg the standalone Slitherine version. Have you tried that?

It is unlikely to be resolved over the weekend. Probably worth installing the Slitherine version. It would also help us to know whether your issue is the same as mine.

Since nobody else has complained of this issue, it seems likely to be something to do with our involvement in the beta.

I am experiencing the same issue. Purchased my copy from Steam. Game plays fine on single player but when I attempt to sign in on multiplayer I receive “Authentication Failed”.

Nice job on the game by the way. Looking forward to multiplayer.

We are really sorry about this. MP worked fine with the STEAM version last week when we tested the final build, but it seems not to work for some people since the game went live. I am having this issue myself with both the STEAM and GOG versions.

We hope to have a fix early next week.

Actually this is not the same issue. You have a different error message, which is probably something to do with your password or username. Please email support@slitherine.co.uk to look into the issue for you.

It seems this issue is related to the beta. For some reason my STEAM client did not update to my release serial. The same thing may apply to you. Can you try logging into MP with the STEAM version now and report back please?

The original issue was a problem with the change from STEAm beta to release versions. For some reason toska and my serial numbers do not appear to have been updated to the release versions.

We were apparently the only ones affected, and a workaround has been put in place that removes the issue for toska and myself, and any other beta tesers that might have been affected.

Fusilier9's issue is not the same issue, and is probably an issue with his username or password.

The recommended action would be to replace the password with another one that contains only alphanumeric charactyers, no spaces, and not too long.

If that does not solve the problem, please email support@slitherine.co.uk, who should be able to sort it out.
