I just reached the point where I can get that Specialisation. Looking at historical posts it seems that their units don't benefit from Wehrmacht Specialisations. Are they worth it? I could get something else this pick like Drop Tanks plus Female Factory Labor.

yes, they definitely worth it, one of the best specialiastions you should take asap. You will bring them to others dlcs as core unit too, so need to fulfill their exp fast (coz u get them later than wehrmacht bois). Despite their low quality and quantity, they always have constant land CPs for all ground scenarios and that will change some missions (from 2nd dlc) gravely. Earlier, they just need to secure the flank, do 2nd objectives or chase the scattered enemy, that will free your main force a lot.

Depends how your core Wermacht force is composed. In Panzerkrieg you will get 6 more points and in Endsieg another 6.

of course, you cant afford anything luxury for SS in blitzkrieg, if i remeber, they have a free skiing finns unit that performs extremely well in early. Later then they can go for everything you want, but keep in mind that artillery doesnt affected by any specs so it may be less waste.
