What exactly is instant moves? Is this when a victorious unit automatically moves into a hex vacated by a retreating unit?
Is anyone using this feature and why?

Menas you dont watch an animation when a unit moves, instead if jumps to destination right away.

Hello Triari!
I noticed that you have Mac versions of Legion, Gates of Troy & Spartan. I have the PC versions. Having moved over to the Mac OS over a year ago, I've been trying to build up my game collection for the Mac.
Where may I buy these versions for the Mac? Thanks in advance for any help on this.
Best regards,
vicco

Hi.
It could be very difficult to find those three titles on the Mac, because the company who ported them (VP) is no longer selling them. Unsure who has the rights to publish Mac versions of them now. Also, Leopard breaks Spartan & GOT, in that the battles are rendered black - unable to place forces. I keep hoping one of th incrmental updates to Leopard will fix it, but no luck. I haven't tried 10.5.7 yet though.
You may want to keep an eye on eBay, place a "want ad" on some Mac gaming forums, and pester Slitherine and Freeverse to do a "classic set."

One thing you can do is to run the PC versions through Parallels or boot into Windows. I have both, but no PC versions of the game to try this. I'm sure it would run fine.

Thanks for the info. Here's hoping that Slitherine will try to do its classic games on the Mac.
