Game Move Tracking Glitch

Can you please investigate and repair the following problem?

Our last game HoN developed a problem where, at the end of my move when I hit "Proceed" (or click after adding a text comment) to end my move the usual notification at the top indicates it is my opponent's move, but a screen box now pops up saying "It's Your Turn" and indicates my opponent has already played his move (screen shot #1 in a reply below).

When I hit "Proceed" that screen is replaced by a box labelled "Heroes of Normandy" containing "Uploading Current Game", and the game is frozen, needing Task Manager to kill the program (screen shot #2 in a reply below).

My thinking was it might be a glitch in just this one game, but after starting a new game the problem is still present.

I am also getting emails from Slitherine warning, "We noticed you have downloaded some turns multiple times" when I have not done so.

Also my opponent resigned from a game and nothing shows on his current games in play, but the same game still shows on my current games list as it being his turn. Cannot delete it (screen shot #3 in a reply below)

We are still able to play games this way normally by hand killing the program at the end of each move but that is a pain and there is definitely something amiss. Before these problems arose about 6 weeks ago (?) previous games worked fine. I have played HoN (site version only - not registered with Steam) with both DLCs for over a year.

My PC has run Win10 Pro for years, updated to Build 19041.685 on 10/19/2020. Dxdiag indicates all OK. I have had no problems running any other software on this machine.

My feeling is the tracking of ownership of the current move has been compromised, either on the Slitherine server or in the core game on my PC.

Any help would be appreciated,
