No disruption on rear charge

Why can my cavalry not disrupt the enemy pike? This is the first move of my turn. The enemy pike was disrupted by my cavalry at the end of my last turn after which my cavalry withdrew. An entire round was fought after that charge which disrupted the pike which then fragged my cavalry to its front during its turn This is the next turn and I can't disrupt the pike again? This is not consistent to what has happened in other games.
The first picture is of the screenshot and the second a photo of the screen when I took the screenshot. As you can see they are not the same as the message explaining the reason of the flank charge does not display in the screenshot although it was visible when I took the screenshot.

I have no idea.
The problem with this and other apparent anomalies you have discovered is that as you seemingly only play MP games, I can't investigate any apparent anomalies (possibly bugs) properly because to do so I would need a saved game, which you cannot make for MP.
We are a bit stuck until or unless someone reports a similar anomaly in an SP game for which they have a game save.

I think that units can't decrease cohesion levels onde the same turn for the same reason. For exemple, a unit that lost cohesion as a result of a charge, won't drop another level as a result of another charge. They could, for example, break because of heavy number of casualities but that's independent of a charge.
Another example, a unit can drop cohesion as a result of receiving shots and then drop another level if they are charged but, for example, you could surround a unit with missile troops and keep shooting at it that they would only drop a level of cohesion (unless they took heavy number of casualities that would make them break).
I could be wrong though.

Did your cavalry disrupt the enemy during the last pursuit phase? In which case, wouldn't that count as the start of this turn and not the end of the last turn?
