Thius is just an early warning, so to speak, that we will soon launch another team event. As usual we will play in teams and base the event on a historical theme. This year, the theme will be the struggle for Emperor in North China from 1614 to 1700. So it may feature Ming, Qing, Jurchens, Mongols etc.

After each set of games, the winning team becomes Emperor. This of course gives them bragging rights but also means that they take over the Emperor's armies for the next game. The winner of the event will be the team that finishes as Emperor after the last game.

We are just looking at the match-ups now and hope to confirm them in the next couple of weeks. Feel free to signal interest in joining. The commitment is to play a total of four or five games (tbc) with some 3-4 weeks to complete each game.

Thanks to both of you for the interest. We are still trying to find a good opening game with the early Jurchen Bannermen, an all-cavalry army. Probably it will be against the Northern Ming (17th Century version) but on the Steppes and with a wide playground.
