Issue with Update 1.5.34

Any suggestions about what to do when using the update app from the game menu and getting the download screen which starts and then crashes to the message below:

Error:
Unable to download file.
An error occurred while trying to open an FTP file.

Have tried the 'Back' button to retry x3 and the 'Cancel' three times with same effect.
I do not use Steam.
Really hoping I do not have to re-install.

Original query posted at 18.20 GMT - Update @ 18.50 GMT.
Attempted another download through the updater after powering down and restarting the PC.
All went well and update successfully installed.

Glad you got it sorted.

I had a similar thing happened the other day when trying to update MTG Arena. It wouldn't update until I restarted my computer.

I do not know if this is related to the update, but having applied the update, I am unable to login to Multiplayer. It comes back with UNKNOWN ERROR.

I have raised a ticket with support but I was wondering if there is anything I can do to help speed up tracing the cause of this problem as I signed but for both the latest tournament and the digital league.

I can still play games against the AI and I can download user campaigns, so the game can access the internet.

I am afraid you will need support to sort this issue out for you as they can look at your account details and see what might be going wrong.

Thank you Richard, I thought it was worth asking in case there was a way of running a trace or dump to find out what the program is getting back to come up with Unknown Error or how you get to this in the code which might help point in a direction to look.

Just to make sure it wasn't my antivirus and firewall causing the problem, I rebooted into Windows Safe mode and tried accessing Multiplayer but I got the same result.

The server team made some fixes at their end, which seems to have worked. Sorry for the hassles.
