Hello everyone,
I guess this is the best present for 2021 for Pz Corps players.

(besides the Pz Corps 2 new DLC)
I just installed, with no problems Battlefield: Europe v2.0.
I knew this MOD sometime now, but when today shown Goose turn 1 play through.

I said to my self this is it.
I must do it now.
Very tempting to start asap, but I feel I need some testing and reading first.
1000 thanks to McGuba and all the rest who made it.
Have a look at the main menu, it looks very promising

Wow, thanks... this is amazing news!
Please keep us updated on your progress and/or on any ideas for it! Maybe mention it in the main BE thread as well:

If you have any questions, just ask!
You may also like to compare my AAR here (spoilers):

Furthermore, GeneralWerner had developed two very good and brief summaries for overall guidance (spoilers):

So now two questions for you:
1. Do you plan to play from Poland all the way through or just the main map?
2. What settings will you play on?

1. I just started all the way through, 41 -45 I think
2. Settings General
3. This is a blind trial, so to discover the hard way, opportunities and threats till turn 10.
Then its going to be a party

Are great, so you are playing the big map right away. Settings General... what about the oil settings, i.e. the mod has some sub-mods for different settings re oil, maybe you haven't seen them and you are playing the standard version!

A question for PeteMitchell:
Is there a way to clear the sea mines in the Atlantic and Baltic area?

Hi faos333,
Yes, you can clear sea mines with destroyers and with tactical bombers. Maybe you could even use mines against mines.

mines are the bane of the game...very frustrating little buggers.
I tried hitting with mines, no luck

I will try with destroyers and tactical bombers in Leningrad.
By the way are there any sea minesweepers available in the future?

In the current versions, I think only destroyers. I don't know if McGuba has plans for special sea minesweepers later.
Just fyi, there are Russian subs behind the mines around Leningrad...

I am about done with Leningrad. I saw all of those subs, and mines, and just have not cared about them.
Should I care?
What I mean is there anything I should be worried about if I leave them there to just rot there?

I don't think they will move anywhere. I just had mentioned it as some people may clear the mines to get into shooting range on Kronstadt / Leningrad and then have their capital ships sunk by these subs...

Well I am thinking about it, I can delete an axis mine, bring some units to take care another, so my ships can harass Lenigrand, the submarine its nasty suprise though!!

Historically Leningrad was very heavily protected from the sea, there was the Kronstadt fortress which was surrounded with mines, blockhips, naval nets and the like. As far as I know the Germans never really attempted to get within shooting range of Leningrad from the sea. The Gulf of Finland was probably the most heavily mined area with something like 80,000 naval mines layed by the participants. It is better to bring towed artillery and bombers here and just leave those mines.
