when I attempt to install v 1.0.4 update, I received a message "ICBM not installed-please install ICBM before running this update" however the game is installed.

please support

thats a standard message saying your installing the update only and not the main game, so either you have the wrong file or don't have the game installed.

can you download this file then and only then the one above, the update thanks

if you have done this and it still doesn't work, please explain how you installed and where you installed the main game to

as it won't update the steam or GOG version, it's only for the site one

unfortunately I have the GOG version only.

Then you've to update the game via GoG Galaxy.
The updates here are exclusive for the standalone version.
