when i download 1940. it gives 4 options. the first id bonus content. however after a download and extract, 1940 doesn
t appear? any suggestions

Have you activated AO40?
You need to enter the activation code from your 'My Game' page of the Matrix store site for AO40 to appear.
AO40 is not part of the FM version and requires a separate purchase.

i've already purchased it. i'm downloading from the my page which has all the game you've purchased. which option did you check when you downloaded it?
