I have the gog version so i cant use steam workshop. Is there a way to use the "no ai allies" mod for spain dlc without steam ? Any dl link ? Thx in adv.

Or does it work, if i start my non steam version in steam ? I can start it that way, but does workshop install of mods work that way ?

Steam version had an december update, so no, this is an old version. No actual version for gog users ? I hate allied ai.

There is only one mod release here.
The Steam 'updates' enable the original mod using Steam Workshop, does not change the mod.
Follow the instructions and it should work.

There may be an update to use 'Mod Manager' but like the Steam update that is 'formatting' not a updated Mod.

Really enjoying spain now. Winning everything first try with bonus, mostly cleaning the maps entirely.

No pos traits, 100% randomness for battles, some neg. traits (arrogance, bad logistics, one hero only for every unit), seems to be not enough. Will try heroes for ai, trait, or playing without heroes at all.

Still i would love two options, for heroes:

1. Heroes die, when unit dies. (maybe with a suboption where player can set chance of survival if unit dies in %)
2. No prestige for heroes disbanding.

Maybe in a future patch.

That is an easy mod, just edit the rules.json file with a text editor.
