Has anybody seen these? I am keeping my fingers crossed for the release of 15mm rocket carts. I know that Grumpy has the figure for the hand-held rockets- in- a -basket,but the idea of a battery of rocket carts sounds so much cooler. After all,what fun would Ming Chinese be if you couldnt have at least some wacky weaponry?

I've seen these, but I guess Essex ones are better (in fact I bought them).
Generally speaking, Old Glory figures are not ver good, even if they are cheaper.
If you are interested, try also with Han from Essex (not the old ones) and regarding Tang, Outpost figures are great!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't know Essex did Ming. I bought my Ming from what was then Kennington from their Yuan Chinese range. They're now sold by SHQ (http://www.shqminiatures.com/Sitefiles/main.php), and you can find the 15mm Yuan in their pdf catalogue on page 23 (http://www.shqminiatures.com/Sitefiles/Catatlogue.pdf). They do a wheelbarrow rocket launcher which I have, as well as firelance cavalry; in fact all the figures are almost straight out of the Osprey 'Medieval Chinese armies'. The cavalry they do are less good in my opinion (other than the firelance cav), and I used Grumpy's miniatures from ERM for these (http://shop.eastridingminiatures.co.uk/ ... e-25-c.asp).

Regarding HF (ex-Sp of DBM), MF and LF I bought Essex figures using Sung (hat is similar to Ming, check for example Osprey books)
Regarding artillery and Generals, I have Eureka figures.

Yes,I too have some of the Essex Sung,and many would work as Ming.Also,I absolutely love Essex minis and have many of them. I do agree to a point about Old Glory 15's,unpainted and individually,they are like red-headed stepchildren(i.e. not very lovable),but they paint up very well,and the animated look that the varied poses give to my units are awesome.

Some advice regarding camp: I bought a big Buddha statue and made a camp with it and a chinese emperor .......... very good and also heavy to transporte!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes,please! I have a stone Buddha as well,that I bought while I was in China a couple of years ago. Originally,it was going to be for DBA,but its a little too large for that anyway.

Both the Ming and Yi Koreans are fantastic. They are doing artillery sets for both armies.

Yes,Jay confirmed this over on TMP. I have to paint about 70 28mm Scutarii before I can get any Ming. Before I can paint the Scutarii,I've got 100 15mm Seleucids to finish. Thats the problem with bartering painting for figures.
