MH CEAW fast play

Has anyone tried the fastplay games for the new version of CEAW yet? I started one as the Germans in 1944 last night, and it seemed like a nice alternative to playing the grand campaign which as you all know, can be very time consuming and tedious. Other than the obvious differences in map size, the differences I noticed were this:
1. Units are much more expensive
2. ZOC's mean even less than in the regular game. There were instances when I thought I had all of my holes plugged but somehow an inf corps would manage to get 2 or 3 hexes behind my line.
3. Each turn represents a much longer time span. I was pretty drunk when I played, so I don't recall exactly how long they are.
4. The Russian winter isnt quite so bad. I still ran into the movement penalty, but I didn't notice any difference in the efficiency of my troops.
Anyways at first glance they look pretty fun and seem like they would be a nice break from the marathon that the regular PBEM games can turn in to. If anyone wants to start up a PBEM fastplay let me know. I have v. 1.12 with the BJR mod, although I'm not sure the BJR mod effects the fast play scenarios. My vanilla game isnt working now because of my antivirus software.
