Well as pr the subject, I'm having trouble completing this mission in Red Storm. All seams to go well, the the Germans hit back with Tiger II at Riga and Jagdpanthers in the middle at like 10-12 turn.

How did you conquer Baltic Offensive in Red Storm?

This AAR demonstrates my theory of art for killing German heavy tanks on max difficulty. The long and skinny of it is as follows:

* attempt to spot them early with recon, preferably using air

* put infantry between them and me in forest, hills and cities. This is critical

* back the infantry with ZiS-3 or other ATG for reaction fire

* hammer them with arty and air until they're too weak to resist while rotating the infantry out for replenishment

* counterattack

I recommend never fighting enemy armor with your own armor as the trade is poor RP wise. Instead armor should focus on the exploitation and envelopment mission.
