I've trawled through the archives but found no definitive answer.

Is it possible to have precisely 20 bases of H&P in the army? I assumed not as that would leave you needing 5 Triarii and odd numbered BGs are not allowed.

Also, I assume the Velites ratio applies to the total number of bases of H&P, how you organise your Velites BGs is up to you so long as they are legal BGs?

Maybe the mod could rename the post to something appropriate And make it sticky so everyone can see it at the top of the page
