Updating to v.8.3.1

I have v.7.1.4 (I think?). I keep getting a message there is a newer up date, but when I try to load it I get an error message saying it failed to upload due to FTG?! Help

Thanks for the reply. I went to the site you gave me and entered the site for v.8.6.1. It said it was downloading but I can't find it and when I tried to upgrade again I still get the "error FTG" msg. Maybe support can help?

Uninstall 7.1.4. Restart PC.
Download and reinstall 7.1.4 first.
Then upgrade with 8.6.1.

Again, thanks for the reply. I tried multiple times to follow your instructions but no success. I did get a messages saying there is a newer version (v.8.6.1) and it did give me a "handle" to download it, but I still get the same message:" couldn't download the FTP file".
