I am just getting around to playing FOG after having had the splendid rule book for awhile.

I have a Dominate Roman Army that allows me to have Legionaries, Auxhillia and Lights in one Battle Group (I believe). When I use the Army Builder v4 it seems to say that my average Battlegroup that has 4 legion, 4 auxhillia and 4 LI bases has an auto break of 4. In the generator I have assigned each of these to order of battle number 1 assuming the order of battle means put a number for each battlegroup. I had expected this to be 6 (50% of the BG).

This seems to diasadvantage the BattleGroup because if I seperate out the 4 bases of Average light foot into their own battlegroup they have an auto break of 2...

Apologies of this has been answered before but there is a lot of info to surf through here - but what am I missing..

You can't have MF & HF in the same BG with Romans
BG must be HF + LF or MF + LF. Third bullet under 'Building a Custom List' for Dom Rom
Not available to Romans, some are HF + MF bow xbow
The builder only looks at the first 2 lines of the BG for the calc of bases because of that
