I just learned to my chagrin that torpedos are not in endless supply. I thought at first I was limited to 3 per mission, but it seems I am limited to 3 per game (plus another 3 once I clear the flooding from the aft torpedo room). In a game where the submarine is producing infinite quantities of oxygen and battery power, and CO2 buildup is not a concern, it wouldn't put too much strain on one's ability to suspend disbelief if torpedos were likewise infinite. After all, with a cool-down of 10, there is little opportunity to spam them. I am still currently on story mode, but I'm thinking this could really be a concern on endless, where torpedos would be too precious to use.

And still that torpedo icon is taunting me with that bright, yellow colour.
