Multiplayer scenario building - settings

Evening all
The game has been out a fair while now - multiplayer scenario design is still hamstrung. eg - heroes dont work, traits dont work. When will these be activated? Anyone know when we might get some easier to use modding tools?

I don't think Heroes or Traits will ever apply in multiplayer.
Too much of a wildcard effect, players hate Paratroopers, do you think they would like random Heroes?

hello guys, I would like to improve a lot of things from multiplayer games and I'm sure we would discover many more by playing them, do you dare to play multiplayer? ... if so write me thanks.

Strange answer. Multiplayer scenario building allows exactly these problems to be removed. Dont like paras? Build a scenario that takes out air transport points. This is one angle which IS currently available. None of my multiplayer scenarios at present feature paras.
Why would a designer not want heroes as an option? Want to simulate Rudel in his tank busters in 1944? Do it with a hero as well as experience. Scenario design REMOVES randomness.
The point is - these features add flexibility to scenario design and are a feature in the built in campaigns...but are not currently available in the scenario builder. The switches are there....but they dont work. This means the game designers intend (or intended) to bring them in, but haven't yet. That is a shame, particularly given how long the game has now been out.

It is true that the game is a basis that can be improved and developed in the future with the application of features but that basis also has problems or at least very debatable issues .... if to solve the problem of paratroopers must be built a new map this means that whoever can't make that effort can't play properly .... i have a simpler solution that should be in the base game .. the extra supply points to the initial should have the ability to deploy units greatly reduced or eliminated ... the problem is not the paratroopers the problem is that they only occupy the supply box can give birth to six additional units ... a barbarity.
Another way to limit the problem would be that just as other parameters can be modulated the amount of air transport could also be regulated, so by defining the terms of a multiplayer game the host would put 1 or 2 at most of available air transport ( but never 4).

Aside from the work involved in creating a new Scenario, I’ve been reviewing the Editor and haven’t found it, could you tell me where the option that defines the amount of air transportation available is?

ok, thanks for the reply, I saw it and in fact I tried to modify the Soviet air transport assigned by another transport plane that I found in the list of Soviet units, specifically "Lisunov Li-2" but I did not ' l recognizes it as air transport, in reality the two planes are the same, but shouldn't I recognize it anyway ?, thanks for the help

Under 'Data' with Units.cvs and everything else.
https://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewto ... 97&t=97739
includes paths to where most user editable game files are found.

I'm just going to bump this back up - still building scenarios and still missing the heroes and traits option. Don't need any great detail, but if a developer happens to drop in here can we get a confirmation (or not) that these features are eventually going to drop in? If the answer is that they are no longer planned then I'll stop wishing.
