Is there anyway to change the difficult terrain colour ?

I am Colourblind and have almost no ability to see some of the difficult terrain (woods are fine - I completely miss where hills are and also some difficult terrain )

We do sympathise.

We have tried to take colour blindness into consideration with banners and suchlike, although it is difficult because there is more than one type of colour blindness.

It would be difficult to do the same for Difficult Terrain because it would look awful for those without colour blindness. And if an alternative tile set looked OK for people with one type of colour blindness, it might not work (or might look awful) for those with a different type of colour blindness.

If we were making an alternative tile set for colour blind folk, what would make Difficult Terrain more visible to you?

So with the terrain I have found (I had a bit of a work at it with the mouse to scan over)

Woods - absolutely no issue for me
Hills - maybe (and it might be already an option) but in the graphics set a higher contrast/shadow for the hills
rocky ground - this one was particularly bad - it was hard to tell where was rocky and where was the natural tone of the board - again an option to up the contrast would be the easiest option (just make the rocks maybe a stronger colour ?
Marshes - option for slightly more blue (water effect ) - just highlights them a little - although these are not bad
BUA - this is actually ok - similar to woods the design makes it pretty visible

I will say I am on the far end of the colour blind spectrum (pretty much anyone worse than I am would be getting very little colour definition at all)

and thank you for considering colour blindness with the troop colouration - at least it was something thought about (amazing how often I come across games that do not even consider it at all)
