Commendation System Improvement Request

I really like the commendation point system, but I also think it needs some improvements - hopefully before or at same time as the upcoming 1940 AO DLC.
1) Commendation points total should be visible to the player
2) Make it clear if commendation points carry over between DLC installments
3) Make it clear for unit offers if it is a "gift" unit with unlimited replacements OR has a limited replacement pool
4) For any unit offer, give a "i" (info) button so we can view the stats of the unit and not have to guess if it is worth it
5) Always offer the dialogue to spend CPs even if the player doesn't have enough, makes the opportunity cost of a prior spend visible and gives the player that "Dang, if I only I hadn't..." feeling
6) Offer some additional smallish opportunities to spend these (e.g., get an extra minor hero)
7) Offer some either/or spend events (i.e., A) minor hero 1 OR B) minor hero 2))
Consider CPs to modify existing units (e.g., 2 CPS to give 1 tank +2 hard attack (permanent mod))
9) Consider CPs to modify campaign level status (e.g., 6CPs = +1 core slot)
10) Consider CPs to buy off some of the negative general traits (e.g., 10 CPS buys off 1 negative trait point)
