I have made a mod in MyGames/OOB/Mods. Inside the mod folder there is a "savegame" folder; inside that, a "hotseat" folder.

When I play the mod, hotseat saves seems to be saved here, but when I exit the game and reopen it, the actual hotseat save is in the MyGames/OOB/Savegames/Hotseat. Not in the "mod" folder, but the main one.

EVERY TIME I want to continue a hotseat game I have to go to that folder and copypaste the save file into the folder inside the mod.

This had just led to me doing the reverse, overwriting two hours of gameplay.

Why does it works like this and how can I fix it.

Works as intended for me. Saves and loads from the same folder.
You could try a reinstallation if somehow the game save path is corrupted.

Hotseat folder works just fine.
