Dear support team,
unfortunately the game crashes immediately after the start of a campaign and reports an error:

Renderer.cpp:854:void__cdecl
proxy::video::Renderer::submitCommands(void): Failed to
submit to queue. -4 VK_ERROR_DEVICE_LOST.

Gladius has encountered a problem and needs to close.
Please contact support with log files ans save games

i would be very happy about help, because i like to play the game very much and it ran without problems before.

The issue is that while your Nvidia GTX 765M should be fully compatible with Vulkan engine, in reality it isn't, as Nvidia stop updating drivers for the 7xxM cards since April 2019.

The only way you have to play the game without any crash and issue is to play with the old OpenGL version.
Please do the following to set the game to OpenGL:
Open Steam client and in your games library click with the right mouse button over the Warhammer 40,000 Gladius - Relic of War. In the new window click on "Betas" tab. Under "Select the beta you would like to opt for:", select "legacy 1.2.6 Tyranids (OpenGL 4.0)" from the drop down menu. Close the window and run the game.

Please note that in this case, the versions are supported, but will not receive further patches and will not be able to get the newer DLCs, such as Chaos. So if your computer currently cannot support the Vulkan update, then this will be the case for you, where you need to use the OpenGL update and then will not be able to run future patches or DLC.
