Hi ,

not for the moment in France , Carolingian armies are generally prefered , Carolus Magnus is well known , the Count of Paris and Hugues Capet the first Capecian are far less Charismatics , William the Conqueror will surely attract more players ;-)

As an Anglo-Saxon, I could not possibly bring myself to opt for the Tanner's lad & the loaded dice as used at Hastings. :)

Hi,
I used this army training for a tournament with a limited number of books.
I played with 4 TC, 8 BG’s of Armoured Cavalry, 1 LH and 4 BG’s of LF’s.
I like it, but I guess it’s a good army in its period.
In open tournament you could have some problems, for example:
- you don’t have LH (except 1 BG)
- you don’t have LH or Cv with shooting capabilities
- very hard against Elephants or KN’s (superior and heavly armoured)
- against armoured/ PK foot.
But it’s impressive seeing a lot of CV charging.
