Do pot luck multiplayer games always pick armies from the base game?

My impression is "yes". Is that actually the case? Can I get biblical or later AD pot luck choices in multiplayer?

You can below the army list choices set time constraints (start date and end date) within which the army list's time period at least partially must lie. For example, say that you enter the time constraint between 400 AD and 500 AD, then the list will only show army lists whose time period to some extent covers 400-500 AD (such as 300 BC - 420 AD, or 490 AD - 800 AD).Zardoz02 wrote: Sun Oct 04, 2020 8:07 am My impression is "yes". When I tried it last time, potluck seemed to pick from within the dates specified, but I will double check. Unless someone knows for certain?Karvon wrote: Sun Oct 04, 2020 12:59 pm I'm not sure you can actually set specific date ranges for potluck battles; those settings only affect what is displayed to the player I believe. The only filters you set are general shared geographic and/or time frame.
The answer is no.

I've checked it again, and it seems to work. I set the limitations to my beloved 400 - 500 AD plus potluck side A and B, and twice the result produced armies within that time span. See screenshots below. Too much of a coincidence.kronenblatt wrote: Sun Oct 04, 2020 1:07 pmWhen I tried it last time, potluck seemed to pick from within the dates specified, but I will double check.
