I just bought and downloaded Panzer Corps 2...I still dont see any shortcut on my desktop so I can actually play the game...any ideas on why this is not showing up???...I have Windows 10

look in you main program list find it and right click on it to place a short cut. did you actually install it yet? sometimes if you don't turn off firewalls when downloading it wont download. just my humble thoughts.

I am not a tech savy person....how do I turn off the firewall???

do you have a security program like Mcafee? you will need to open it find the security settings and find the firewall tab and turn it of till re-start or some times you have the option of a set time frame. i usually turn mine off for 60 minutes then it will come back on automatically.

NO..I do not have a security program....this whole process is frustrating!!!

It still wont install....anyone else have a fix for this problem???

I did find some sort of installation of the game in APPS AND FEATURES..it reads as PANZER CORPS 2 1.01.10.1...but nothing happens when I click on it......

as a private person not part of slitherine. i dont understand why no one has written you back. they are usually pretty good with tech support. mabye start a new thread and see if they help. im about tapped on what there is left to do sorry.

I guess you tried to install the Slitherine version and not the Steam version?

I think your problem is that the installation wasn’t complete.

With windows 10 you can unzip with a built-in utility. Right-click the file, and choose Extract all...to extract it.


Just click on Extract:


This may take a while...

Open the temporary folder created and launch the exe file:


You can delete this temporary folder once the installation is finished. There may be a last update to install.
