First time I have ever been stuck on a tutorial!!!
On the xbox one navigation tutorial, I move my ship, a new ship jumps in, I am instructed to "select an enemy ship to see its data"
I have no cursor, no way to select a ship. No buttons work to progress through this. I am so confused.
How do you select a ship with an xbox controller???

You've gotta hover over the ship it wants you to select, and simply press A. There is no cursor or indicator, you just have to select when that ship is in your center screen.

Haveing issues to, can't use lb or rb buttons in campaign to select ships, works in skirmish fine but not in campaign, just got this game and it sucks

Ok so after hours of searching and a bit of trial and error, the work around is start the campaign and disable the tutorial in the options and the game works fine, kinda bad u gotta jump in the deep end but it works, btw the game now dont suck it's fraking awesome
