L1 and R1 Buttons not working - PS4

Hi all. I see others have brought this up as well. Purchased the game on Sunday, Sept. 27 and I cannot get through the tutorials. The L1 and R1 buttons for PS 4 do not work for targeting/selection of ships. Hope the fix for this is the top priority as I'd like to enjoy the game. Thanks!

Finally decide to pull the trigger on this game and it doesn't even work. And I can't return it cause PlayStation says if you download it it's yours. Wait an hour for it to download. Spend over and hour trying to figure out what I've done wrong just to find the game is broken. How is a game that has been out for a couple years broken? I don't get it. I want my time back not to mention my money.

Is there an ETA on this fix or do I need to try and get my money back and buy it on xbox?

Looks like it's limited to the tutorial. If i disable the tutorial it plays fine. But I did get a message saying is miss story by doing this. So that's a huge disappointment
