Artillery ZOC

Came across an interesting situation with ZOC (again). An enemy artillery unit prevented a unit of mine charging another unit. Should artillery units impact a ZOC in the same way infantry and cavalry do? This doesn't seem right

It is arguable, but it is working as intended.

Good point. In that case it isn't working as intended!
It is a bug. Heavy Artillery don't exert a ZOC in the current game, but Light Artillery do.
I will fix it in the next update.

Thanks Richard for looking into it. Didn't seem to make sense that light troops ZOC didn't impact on some heavy foot but a few artillery guys did. Appreciate your responsiveness to this issue.
