UPDATE:
The game is over, thanks for participating!
The board is ready:
Official voting rules:
1. Each unique user name gets up to 3 bets.
2. If you own a listing, your first bet is for your own listing. Your remaining 2 bets can be anywhere except your own listing. For example, Alien has 1 bet on 4D, and the other two he can place as he pleases.
3. To place your bets, just write where you want it to go.
Example: 1A, 3B, 5C
Easy!
4. When placing your bet, especially if you own a listing, you can explain what is so special and interesting or why you picked your particular listing. Convince others to put their bets on your listing!
5. Remember there is only one Grand Prize, and the winner of that prize is the listing with the MOST bets on it, and that listing is also a prediction that turns out to be TRUE, as it will actually be in the next DLC. Winner will be announced when next DLC announcement goes out.
5a. I might have a winner for the most voted prediction that doesn't make it in game. Let's see how the votes land before I commit to that.
Bet for fun, bet for what you think will be in the game, bet for what you want to be in the game. Bet however you see fit.
Post your bets here in Steam forum or on Slitherine forum, I will check both.
I will track votes here:

just the one vote in my case , I'm satisfied with the one vote.
Not really even a shot in the dark prediction , just my hands - down favorite. As I have said elsewhere , I already have a full and elaborate head - canon regarding the German Channel Islands occupation --- regardless of whether it makes it into the game or not.

It is entirely up to you to only put a single vote, as I said, you can go up to 3. Not have to put all 3. Grats on being the first vote!
By the way, is it just me, or are there a CRAZY amount of rare operations listed on that board?
People said 1939 was controversial for bringing up the Saar Offensive... but I look at this board and I see it's filled with much more obscure stuff or wilder battles that didn't even happen. Channel Islands, Holland battles, Ireland... ICELAND? lol

On second thought , then ;
1A , 1D , 5D
1A -- I already explained.
1D -- Actually the only British aircraft I like is the Fairey Battle. I doubt , though , that many people would be jumping for joy to receive a Fairey Battle unit. But the Spitfire sounds like a very good gift unit. I speculate that quite a few folks would like to get that unit.
5D -- I love my air force . an exclusively air war scenario wouldn't hurt my feelings any.

My two cents -- Complaints / criticism of new content usually aren't very meaningful right out of the starting gate.
Getting the SAME complaints / criticism 6 MONTHS or TWO YEARS later ? Then you might have a problem.

5A and 1E
Both of these battles looked interesting and factual and not done before while not being too obscure to fit into a campaign. Decided to vote for what I would like to see rather than what I think could be in the DLC (otherwise vote would be for Sedan, Narvik, and a Spitfire

).

These are my choices:
2A- obviously
1D- I love the Spitfire. Only aircraft I personally love more is the Beaufighter.
5D- Battle of Britain, the Blitz, what ever you want to call it.
This is my reason, I want to win! I suspect that most of us are students of history with a particular interest in the Second World War. I am not a believer or fan of Fascism. I hope we all agree on this. However, I believe we all share a fascination with what Germany accomplished during the war. After a 6 year war we came out the other side with jets, rockets, early computers, nuclear weapons, and advanced medicine. Germany was directly or indirectly responsible for most of these advances. The world we all now live in is a consequence of the decisive decisions, both political and militarily, that resulted from the conflict.
Every thing I have ever read or studied leads me to believe that the war, for Germany, was lost with their failure to defeat the English. The defeat of England would have allowed total commitment to the Eastern Front. There would have been no Battle of the Atlantic, no Deutsch’s Afrika Korp. A consolidated European empire under German leadership, I believe, would have defeated Stalin’s Russia. The scenarios I vote for would lend themselves to a possible Sealion DLC with a later start to the Eastern campaigns. I know these are counter factual, but like I said I want to win! I personally am more interested in what might have been. I know already how it ended.
Now, for fairness sake, I hope to see an eventual Soviet series of DLC’s and would like that to end with the possibility of total Soviet domination of Europe. I would also like to see a more inclusive Allied series of DLC’s centered on England and the Commonwealth country’s with the eventual invasion of Soviet Russia from the western powers. I want to win!
Regards,

Counted.
WW2 started with the Panzer I and Panzer II. WW2 ended with King Tigers, IS-2, and Pershings. Turretless tank destroyers were invented during ww2, and pretty much went obsolete after it was over.
So you know what they say about war and how it drives technological development.

And it still continues to this day.
Space Race was all about developing ICBM technology. Modern day GPS that a crazy amount of technology relies upon started out as a US military project.

My suggestion Battle of the Grebbeberg would bring a battle against Netherlands only to PC2, I think something rarely seen anywhere before

Did kondi bribe you with something? Your votes were both of his listing.

Interesting, this put two points into 2 listings with currently no extra points.

Like "Kondi said" this was the largest 'Tank-Battle" up to this date or time-period... and I for one... was completely 'Unaware' that it ever took place?. Treat it as a large 'Tank-Battle!'... as a near-'Kursk' epic style conflict!.
Maybe I knew of it in some other sense?... but not as 'The Battle Of Hannut'.

It was most certainly not a Kursk-esque affair, I assure you.
No set up of Allied defenses in depth, nothing of that sort. The French were rushing into Belgium as reinforcements.
I think the battle just gets overlooked because of the main drama always focused on Sedan and the immediate aftermath of that. It would certainly be an interesting battle from the Allied perspective. You crash head on against the German advance that is rampaging across Belgium, and you think you have succeeded in stopping their advance. Only to learn the horrible truth that it was all just a diversion, and the real Panzer force is cutting you off before you even know it's happening.
