Slitherine

I just started playing Thracia. There are both Slingers and Peltasts. Is there a recommended choice of the two? Thanks for any opinions.

I get slingers and light cavalry. I would recommend the LC as they are cheaper to maintain and are better at pursuit damage after the battle.

All 3 options give only +1 on support?

From the manual:

"The damage inflicted in the pursuit phase is
related to the flanking rating of each unit. Thus heavy infantry and
phalanxes will inflict relatively few losses at this stage but cavalry and
skirmishers will be very effective."

Light Cavalry have a flanking modifier of 2. Both foot skirmishers have a flanking modifier of 1.

Thanks for your answer. I see that the Thracian Light Cavalry is even better than the Macedonian.
