Just buy Empires.. Paradox is already super big and overly dominant in the market. Support other (and smaller) companies like Ageod, Slitherine and Byzantine games! Better for wargamers overall!

The exact same question (but without the link) with exactly the same wording was asked on reddit a year ago.
