Possible game error. The Romans don't loot.

Game error? I've only played with the Romans, so I don't know if it happens with other factions as well. When I plunder a region with the Romans, it always happens to me, there is no effect. On the next turn, he tells me that the province has been looted, but there is nothing in the province to indicate that this has been the case. Nor the symbol of having been looted. I'm not told what I've won with that looting either. Nor does the region appear to have been impoverished or damaged in any way. This always happens like this.
I know that, in the situation these screenshots, it would be much better to assault. But it's just one example. The looting button, in the Romans, can be activated in few situations. And in all of them it has no effect.
If you can't loot...What benefit can you have of attacking heavily walled regions by surprise without assaulting them? Plus, it's a form of distraction to attack with another army from another far away. This needs to be fixed for the next update. Anyway, the game is fantastic, thank you very much.
