The game ran fine for a couple of days then:

Two issues:

1. When I try to start the gaem I get the video then it drops out to a window that says "AudioPlayer.AudioStream audio forma: PCM_SIGTNED 22050.0 Hz, 16 bit, mono, 2 bytes/frame, litle endian

2. I've tried to install the hotfix but and the patch 1.06, but I can't work out which directory to point the setup rogramme to' I've tried C:\Program Files (x86)\Slitherine\Military History Commander - Europe at War GOLD\jre\bin, and the same without the \bin and then without the \jre but get "This is an addon instaler.... Please choose another one"

8GB RAM
Quad core Q9550 2.83
Vista 64 bit ultimate
2x ATI Radeon HD4650

2 days has been worse than none becuase I really got into playing and now can't

Sorry you are having problems. If it ran then stopped something has obviously changed but we need to work out what.

Can you clarify what version you have. Is it the original CEAW or MH CEAW and what version/language the original version was before patching. If you have MH CEAW then adding any patches is only going to cause issues as you already have the latest version.

Have you instaleld any other programs that may have caused it to stop running - e.g. virus checking software?

It's the MH CAW version bought about 2 weeks ago at GAME.
I haven't applied the patch because I couldn't point the updater to the right place
I haven't installed any other software but have changed my graphic settings from Crossfire to Basic
thanks for the quick reply

Can you try changing back whatever you changed and see if it helps. If not we could try to turn the sound off and see if that helps.

The "AudioPlayer.AudioStream audio forma: PCM_SIGTNED 22050.0 Hz, 16 bit, mono, 2 bytes/frame, litle endian" is not anything wrong it is a debug message just.

It's something to do with the ATI Graphics settings - it works when I engage Crossfire mode (putting the 2 graphics card into 1 screen - I usually run two screens) I then switced it back and it works again. This is the first time I've switched graphics modes since reinstalllng the drivers. Fairly random but the end result is it works.
thanks for the swift responses - excellent service
