Multi player game not loading

I've been playing a multiplayer game but now the game is not loading. When I select the game and press play the computer returns to the main screen.
Might be a server problem.
Is your game updated to version 1.6.6?
Did you install any new security software lately or stuff like registry cleaners?
Is singleplayer mode still working?
