Hi Dave
The army consisted of 14 BG's.
I think my defensive spear were a big weak point. I think I was being too attack minded with them and once they got near the enemy they were difficult to move (poor and undrilled).
I did feel in 2 of the other 4 games I had chances but didn't make the most of them. In 1 I managed to face my knights off against 2 BG's of elephants. In the other I was well ahead but got into combats I didn't need to try for the big win. It felt wrong to settle for a winning draw by keeping my troops out of combat.
The other 2 games I stood little chance against a dominate roman swarm and a solid wall of armoured spearmen.
I have an idea for a future army once I can get it painted up by a guy at our club. Now I need to work out how to win BIG and lose SMALL.

I think the Teutons need to avoid the HF as much as possible. Load up on CV and LH and then KN then just realize that one KN will get mugged and hope theothers power through. You need some MF to be able to hold the edge of some terrain.
Drilled brother knights with a TC should get into the fight against something under most circumstances and if you have 2 BGs together that is a hard thing to count on beating.
I really like the power of KNs. You can't dismiss them lightly.

Incidentally, how did Ian McKay manage to get 27 points in his third game?

Mr Tai po never manages to help my scores out. The swine.
Teutonics work badly in 28mm for the avoidance of doubt. Though that might be in part because everyone else brought Pike Blocks.
