Horseshoes, anyone?

This is from a stock Roman campaign. What I'd done was run my cavalry down to the enemy end of the field, then gave them a move order (not an attack order!) to being them back through a mass of routed enemies.

I count 35 or 36 horseshoes, how many do you get? :)

I've tried that. Good thing to do for gaining experience points. Magobarca

I was just sitting here smoking, sipping that first cup of tea in the morning of a gloriously sunny weekday off from work, and looking at that pic above.

Notice how clear and sharp the shadow definitions are?

How on EARTH can anybody whine about the graphics in Legion Arena? If anything, it impresses me more now than it did when I first bought it.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, what a wonderful game! :)

I agree 100% possum the graphics are good. The only thing I have to say I don't care for is the fact that each soldier from a certain unit is the exact same.

Men within a unit are not the same. Look for subtle differences in the face, equipment, shades of cloth etc. It's most noticeable in the Gauls, but still there in the Romans.

I'm jealous! The most I usually get is around a dozen horseshoes or so, while the cavalry is already in contact with the back of the unit being "mistreated". I'll have to try that approach technique to see if I can squeeze out a few more easy experience points for my precious riders in the next campaign.

Thanks Ian
