I've been following Braccada, Robbie and others on Youtube watching them play through the Grand Campaign on Rommel and FM levels, and have started to think that FM is more difficult than Rommel.
For example, playing Sea Lion 39 on Rommel, Bracc faced an entrenched artillery and an entrenched static AA in the city of London. When I played it at FM, I faced not one, not two, but THREE of each.
Opinions?

FM is far more difficult on FM than Rommel, because the effects really get crazy in the later war years when you are pushing for a 4th star on most units and that 5th star of experience seems like a pipe dream. By the later years you are practically drowning in prestige. At least most people. I am playing on Ultimate difficulty on my channel and I find the Guderian aspect of the game the most difficult to overcome.
