Hey guys!
I have now plowed 800 hrs into Pike and Shot Campaigns, I totally love that game with so much content from the community, thank you for that.
I would very much like to see a new P&S, maybe with the engine from PC2 or FOG2.
Judging by all the user created content the fan base is substantial, so maybe there is chance here.
What do you say, a P&S2, anything you would buy?

I totally agree with You and I love to see a topic about this great game. Still playing it and enjoying every battle.
I love Pike and shot and I was waiting for more content for this game for a long time.
PS2 is a great idea, but I would like to see some more official content for the first game...

It is a favorite period of mine. So yes a P&S 2 would be a lot of fun. As would a horse and musket focused game. Pretty sure they plan to get the FoGII timeline out to 1500 AD done before doing anything else. My understanding is that after the Medieval game + expansions we might see more content for the Ancients game. But we'll just have to wait and see.

I second this suggestion of a P&S 2, of course !

I'd also like to see a tactical turn-based naval game set in the 17th (and 18th) century, as a standalone or a module in Pike and Shot. Land and sea battles and landings in the 17th century !

maybe FoG2 medieval will be extended until the 30 Years War. but it will probably be the next game or the one after that.

FoG2 medieval is expected to cover the period from 1040 to 1500.
Like P&S1, P&S2 might cover the 16th and 17th centuries from the Italian Wars to Louis XIV"s wars : Thirty Years War, English Civil War...

Let me add my voice to this: P&S is awesome! I bought the iPad version AND the Pc version, so I will definitely buy a sequel if one was made. Of course I would be super stoked if it came out for the iPad again, but I won’t hold my breath.

Has anyone heard any news regarding Pike and Shot 2?

In one of the Slitherine videos (from Februrary 2021) they said, that they are not planning P&S 2, at least not in the next couple of years. So I wouldn't get my hopes up.

They also add in this video that P&S 2 is not the natural progression from FoG: Medieval so that the next game could be FOG2: Napoleonics, FoG2: ACW or they could ‘go back to Ancients’ as well. So it's not looking good…

Sometimes, we just feel that we are just part of that game.
