Anniversary Tournament Scoring - quick question

Hi,

Just a something and nothing question.
Understand why I was timed out on the last round of this tournament - I have been away on west coast of Ireland since 29th July and only able to make moves in the evening so cycle was a move at 6 or 7 pm from me and a move at 2 or 3 am (GMT) from my opponent.
I was hoping for enough turns over my free w/e of 15th and 16th to finish but that may have been equally inconvenient for my opponent. That is what it is.
Just can't understand the score I finally received.

When I made my last turn returns on the morning of the 15th August scores were 37-12 in my favour in one game and 14-32 against in the other.

The fact that the 37-12 did not get finish in my final turn on the 15th was unlucky but that and the 14-32 in not finishing in my opponent's favour is of course ultimately down to our slow turn rate which must have been predominantly my fault - hence the time out. That is fine, exactly as the rules state, and emphatically not a problem.

However; where did the 31 points scored to me come from? Should it have been 51 = (37+14)?
How did that work?

Absolutely not annoyed, irritated or even slightly discombobulated - would just like to know how it worked.

Sorry I did not reply to this before. I do not regularly visit this subforum.

I don't have access to the code used by the PBEM server, but if I recall correctly there is a % downwards adjustment of the timed out player's score if less than a certain number of turns are played.
