Huge amounts of money literally disappearing each turn -- help!

I'm playing as Egypt and I have a positive balance of 700 or so -- yet in 5 turns, i've gone from 12000 down to 2600 for no reason! No ruler has died, I'm not taking any events. I'm even selling metal each turn! Why is this happening? Is it a bug?
I really wish there was a more accurate budget number. Often I just don't gain the money the game says I'm making with my positive balance.
What is going on?

This is a known bug I have also experienced. There's a thread about it
here which includes a fix that should hopefully work for you.

Is the new patch just to fix Administrative Burden, or there will be lots of goodies in it?

With August, some delays are to be expected until it is released, but it is looking solid, with other fixes and a few improvements!
