Multiple monitor issues

I am trying to run FoG II (v1.5.30) on a system with three monitors.
I am having a number of issues.

Fullscreen and windowed will only run on the primary monitor. I want it on a different monitor - so it does not hide the taskbar.
Resolutions are limited to those supported by the primary monitor. I want to run it on a monitor with a higher resolution.

I have also had issues with incorrect scaling of the UI.
Sometimes the accept button to apply settings changes was off the bottom of the screen.
In one case the confirm button for the end of turn was only slightly visible
In another the main menu was partly off both the right and bottom of the screen so only the left part of the top half was visible.

Also this is a laptop so the number and resolutions of the monitors changes.

An option to select the monitor and resolution from the initial screen would be good.

I will add it to the wishlist.

Note that you could try the following:

+ run the game in a Window without a frame
+ set the game resolution (either ingame or via the OPTIONS.TXT file (Documents/My Games/FieldOfGlory2) REZX and REZY values) to the rez for the monitor you wish to run it on.
+ run the game, don't worry if it fits on the initial screen or not.
+ Use WindowsKey + SHIFT + LEFT (or RIGHT depending on the arrangement of the screens) to throw the game window to the other monitor.

It might work! :)

Cheers

Hi Pip,
Thanks for that info. I had looked for where the settings were saved but failed to find it.
Could not set it in the game as the list of resolutions was limited to those supported by the primary monitor.

The hot key you mentioned didn't work for me. I have DisplayFusion installed it has a of key of Win+Ctrl+X to move to next and that works.
