20th at the Chas. A. Brigham Jr. Masonic Temple

800 points, One army list from any FoG books released thru May 30th.

There is room for 12 spots under the Tent. If more parties are interested, weather permitting we can set up additional tables under the big blue sky!

Historical match-ups for the two rounds with final pairings via point totals.

Any chance I could get directions coming from I-75N? Thanks. Oh and is this a tournament only or is the "Battle under the Big Top" a show?

I wish I could show up for this, but I will be on vacation in Provence. Not a bad substitute. :D

Coming from where on I75N?

If south of the River, just stay on I71 and follow what was written above...

If North, then get on Cross County East towards I 71 N and then follow above...

It's a small show. The tournament itself is held in a tent outside the lodge which is the actual show/con location. This is what I spoke to you of by PM. I trust you now have the info you need?

Also, count me in Scott. Until further notice, I plan to show despite the scheduling/obligation snafoo. Are you planning list submissions or anything else I should know about?

Yes, I think so. Doug is unfortunately committed to hosting a COGA meeting at his place. Otherwise, he would come.

2009
Ottoman - 4/0/1
Khurasian - 3/5/2
Looking a bit worse post IWF than it did before - he notes with a safety margin of 4000 miles between us

How do you distinguish between a Win and a Draw? Is it simply if your army is broken?

I ask because if you "draw" 19-1 and "lose" 16-9, then I know which is the better result....

hmmm... I updated this yesterday.... Seems it didn't stick...

anyways, I play a draw as one were <2x amount of points one earns keeps it the that column.

vs Niks 13-7 I think I gave it a loss so its correct with a 4/0/1

no it took... Nik's safe with my only "defeat" with the Turks...

though, next time I'll bring one of my kids to roll the dice for me!

Hey Madcam! :)

Is this the Madcam from FoW as well? Just checking!

I am now hooked on this game! I have yet to assemble an army but I am furiously searching for a fast way to gather one. :)

Is there still room in this tournament? I have yet to play but have pretty much memorized the rules (wink..wink). I used to play WRG, DBA, DBM, armati, etc... so have a fundamental understanding. I sold off all my ancients back in 2004 when I started FoW, but now need some more flavor in my gaming diet!

Any tips on where to acquire a painted army fast? ;) I cant paint anymore with my back problems, but I can play !

So...if there is room, and you might be able to guide me to a way to acquire or "use" an army for my first go, count me in! :)

Thanks!

Hey Mike,

It is indeed me!

I saw your post under Big-Gazza's and replied there...

We'd love to have you come dow... Just give us a list of what you'd like and we'll see about getting you a loaner army...

As for painting, Jim Hauber (he painted the IWF prize) does some commission work, is fast, and will be at the event....

I'll make sure you meet up with him...

PM me with your wish list...

Or in Madcams case think "ooh, that's a better list than anything I've came up with"... ;)
