Looking at that bow wave, I am reminded of the phrase "bone in her teeth" but that was usually applied to destroyers by guys peering at them head-on in periscopes! Cool video, but I was a bit concerned at 0:19 when it looked like the ship from which it was filmed appeared to be leveling its guns at the Hood! :shock: :)

Heh, according to Wikipedia (which I am about to request that they rename "Brupedia" in honor of how I seem to be living there these days and donating whenever they request), the top speed of the HMS Hood was 32 knots (59 km/h; 37 mph). Were you to drive that slowly on the Autobahn, you would be pulled over by the Autobahnpolizei as a traffic hazard! Yet, at sea and in those days, 32 knots was really tearing along.
