Hello there
When a BG takes a CT in the JAP to bolster or rally - does it use the -1s on the chart for hits taken this turn? Or just the factors relevant to current phase(JAP)?Also, if a BG tests in the impact,shooting or melee phase because of say, seeing friends break or General killed,do the -1s for hits count even if they might not have been inflicted during the current phase?

I never applied the -1s as you say. I Intended some modifiers apply only in the appropriate moment. So modifiers due to hit apply only when my BG tests because it loses a melee. If the same BG see a friendly routs, since it happens in a different step of the melee phase, in this test I don't apply hit's modifiers.

This is all explained with "*"s and accompanying text in the COHESION TEST chart on page 113.
