Cannot scroll right with mouse

I've just reinstalled the game on a new computer and have an annoying problem: While I can scroll the map to the left by moving the mouse to the left map edge, when I try to scroll right by moving the mouse to the right mouse edge, there is no scrolling and in fact the mouse cursor freezes for a moment. I can only scroll right by using the D key. I have Win10 64 bit, didn't use to have this problem with the same general specs (on a different computer).

It may be worth fiddling about with Full Screen/Windowed Mode/Framed Windowed Mode to see if one of those fixes the issue. (But they don't take effect until you exit and restart the game).

Failing that, probably best to email support@slitherine.co.uk

OK, I tried that but hadn't restarted the game. Will look next time I play.

For me, it's the left side. I can scroll up, down, and to the right, but when I move the cursor to the left it stops, sticks, and the map doesn't move. Have to use the arrow keys. This is in windowed, fullscreen, and frame window modes. No difference. I do run two monitors, though the second one (to the left of the main one) is usually off unless I'm playing a game where I need it. Locking the cursor to the active monitor/app works for games with that option, but FOG2 has, shall we say, rather minimal configuration settings.

As you say, we don't lock the cursor to the game window, as it's generally not necessary. I can add it to my todo list. Until then you can use both the WASD keys, and also you can drag scroll the map.

Cheers
