Created a 2v1 challenge, one player joined then reported that difficulty was set to 1.
8.5.4 probably reset my default 3.

When I try to leave/cancel the challenge I get a 'General error'.

Hmm, that sounds like it's struggling to contact the server?

Hmm, as you created the challenge, you should get a Cancel button? You get Leave if you join someone elses challenge. Just did a quick test here and it was working okay.

On the subject of errors, I notice a bunch of my games are highlighted in red. Normally I assume this means I don't have the right map to join, but I've never had it happen with a game I already started before. Hopefully it doesn't actually interfere with playing my existing games... Since you mentioned you'd try and repro, maybe that had some kind of knock-on effect.

It was my challenge, so I was expecting a cancel button.
But maybe this was botched when another player accepted the challenge.
Then the third player accepted and now the battle is on
It looks like the difficulty = 1 have not affected play as all unit strength = 10. Maybe diff level is not 'in play' for human vs human MPs?

Yeah, diff level only affects AI units

I guess it would have to, unless it somehow made me dumber or my opponent smarter...

You could set up a map to give more or less resources and CP to one of the human players depending on diff level, but it would have to be baked in by the designer.

Essentially using Difficulty as a handicap

Might actually try that out now, see if it works
