Bug in Tyranid Chapter 5 Quest?

Is this a bug? In the Tyranid quest Chapter 5: Juxtracrinesis. I'm asked to accumulate 500 points of bio mass. But the malanthrope tile reclaim which generates biomass does not count towards this goal. only the biomass generated from my buildings counts
