Ok, I'm up to the Early Madrid scenario in the SCW DLC and I was offered the option to purchase a new "Special Armored Unit" with my commendation points that will arrive on turn 2. Well it's turn 9 and I have not seen any new units pop up either to buy or deploy or on the map. Is this for real or is it a bug?

Message for it's arrival shows up on turn 2. It appears in the southern part of the map as a core unit.

You could try to go to a hex with a 'Circle' indicated on it [This is a Supply-Hex]. When your 'Unit' is located in that 'Supply-Hex' check out ...'Upgrading-Unit' ... [You will see the two upwards pointing arrows in a Small side bar [Bottom Left Corner of Screen]. Click on that Upwards pointing arrow... this will now take you to the Purchase Screen where you can then choose what you want to upgrade your unit tool

The message above is what I have come to understand what can be done... I still haven't tried it myself!. What I did do is... wait till the next Scenario started... and then did my upgrades. I did upgrade one of my tanks to the 'Trubia-Tank'. There will be other upgrade opportunities as well.

Same thing happened to me.

I had no problem with it during my first play through the campaign. Then, a few days ago on my second go at it I too got nothing! No message, no tank. Yesterday, I tried again after the general release of the SCW and it appeared! Great. But just a little while ago I had the same thing happen to me on the Teufel map when my Pz II did not show up. Again, this is my second time playing through the campaign. I know where and when it is supposed to appear, but it does not!! Something wacky is going on...and no, I did not deploy a core unit on its hex. In fact, I don't even think you can.

Nope, went back and replayed turn 2. No message, and more importantly no unit. So retry the scenario? Just skip it and save the points?

Ok, I reloaded back to the end of turn 1 and replayed. Nada

The only way for it to Finally work was to reload all the way back to the last turn of the preceding scenario and replay from there. It looks like some condition is randomly getting ignored.

Encouraged by your results, I went back just now and restarted the Teruel scenario and got my Pz IIA. I did not use the space bar and speed through anything. Still, I repeated it again with space bar and got it. Maybe they fixed it? I don't know, but it's clear that I'm not the only one who's experienced this.
